Introduction Our Web-Sales Terms and Conditions comply with the UK legislation. This includes the Distance Selling Regulations which are designed to ensure that all of our consumers can shop easily and with confidence with at PrintKit.co.uk.
Our Agreement with you PrintKit.co.uk provides goods and services to you subject to these Terms & Conditions. You agree that if you visit any of our websites or we supply you with any goods or services you have accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Statutory Rights These Terms & Conditions do not affect you statutory rights.
Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 - E-Commerce Regulations Our Terms & Conditions comply with the current Consumer Protection relating to distance selling and e-commerce.
Ordering Goods or Services Orders will only be accepted from UK Mainland consumers. We reserve the right and at our discretion to accept or reject any order. When you click the "confirm order" button after selecting your preferred payment option you are agreeing to buy the goods or services at the price stated.
Payment Payment is accepted by VISA, VISA DEBIT, VISA ELECTRON, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO & SOLO cards. BACS or CHAPS payment must be received prior to delivery. If you opt to pay by cheque then the goods will only be delivered once payment has been cleared. All goods remain the property of A-Stat Office Technology trading as PrintKit.co.uk until paid for in full.
WE ARE SUPPLIERS TO THE HEALTH SERVICE, LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SCHOOLS, TRADE UNIONS MAJOR CHARITIES AND ESTABLISHED BUSINESS ORGANISATIONS. IF YOU FALL INTO THIS CATEGORY THEN AN ACCOUNT CAN BE OPENED FOR YOU.
Pricing All prices quoted exclude VAT. PrintKit.co.uk reserves the right to change prices. If due to error or omission the price published for the goods on our website is wrong, we reserve the right to terminate the order. Should such an error occur we will advise you of the revised price. At this stage you have the option to cancel your order.
Availability All goods are subject to availability. If we fail to supply the goods you have ordered we will refund in full the money which you have paid. We will not be liable for damages or compensation if we fail to supply the goods.
Suitability of Goods We are unable to guarantee the precise compatibility or suitability of goods for a particular purpose. It is the responsibility of the customer to check specifications and confirm suitability and compatibility with the manufacturer before ordering. Manufacturers' product specification and design may vary.
Evaluation For the avoidance of doubt goods are not sold on a trial or evaluation basis.
Delivery Orders will usually only be delivered to UK Mainland, Northern Ireland & Mainland Ireland consumers. Please call 0845 4566 936 for more shipping information.
All UK Mainland deliveries will be subject to a £6.00 + VAT delivery charge. Free delivery is available on all UK Mainland orders where the value of the goods is £150.00 or above (ex VAT.) All Northern Ireland deliveries will be subject to a £15.00 + VAT delivery charge. All Mainland Ireland (Eire) deliveries will be subject to a £30.00 + VAT delivery charge.
We cannot always guarantee next day delivery, however it is our targeted response time. You will be responsible for the goods once delivery is made at the requested address.
Miss-Shipping In the event of damage or miss-shipping please e-mail customerservices@printkit.co.uk within 24 hours of receipt. Please retain the original packaging for returning your order. We will arrange for collection and prompt replacement.
Faulty Goods Technical support is provided by the manufacturer and not Printkit.co.uk. In the unlikely event that the goods develop a fault, contact the manufacturer who will either replace the goods or carry out a repair under the terms of the warranty.
Returns of Faulty Goods If within 14 days of receiving the goods you wish to return a faulty product for a refund you must initially call our Customer Services Team on 0845 4566 936 and obtain a FAULTY GOODS AUTHORISATION NUMBER. We cannot accept returned goods if they are incomplete. A refund will only be given if the goods are complete and returned with all original undamaged packaging, instruction manuals, software and warranties. You must confirm the fault in writing (letter, fax or e-mail) quoting your FAULTY GOODS AUTHORISATION NUMBER.
Returns Policy If you purchased your goods at our website or via the telephone and you are a consumer (not a business or organisation) you have the legal right to cancel your order within 7 working days from the date of delivery.
If within 7 days you wish to cancel your order and return our goods you should call our customer services department on 01902 746077 and obtain a RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER. You must confirm your request in writing (letter, fax or e-mail) quoting your RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER.
We can only accept returned goods if they are fully re-sellable and in 'AS NEW' condition. We cannot accept returned goods if they are incomplete. Goods must be returned complete and with all original undamaged packaging, instruction manuals, software and warranty. Goods must be unused.
All software and extended warranties must be returned unopened.
Any goods returned to us without a prior RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER or not in the condition detailed above will be rejected and returned to you at your cost.
All carriage costs and insurance are your responsibility. For your own protection, goods should be returned via an insured method of carriage.
If you are a consumer we are legally obliged to return your money within 30 days.
Businesses & Organisations PLEASE NOTE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO A BUSINESS OR ORGANISATION and the cancellation of an order or the return of goods are entirely at our discretion. If we do agree with your request we will levy a loss of profit charge which will be a minimum of 25% of the value of the goods in question.
In the event of a business or organisation entering into a financial arrangement with a third party whereby it is intended that title shall pass to the third party, the customer shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, remain liable under the provisions of this agreement including those provisions as to payment of PrintKit.co.uk. Failure to secure third party finance will not release the customer from any of it's obligations under the provisions of this agreement including the obligation to discharge the full purchase price to PrintKit.co.uk.
Liabilities
- We shall have no liability for any loss or damage of any nature arising from any breach of any express or implied warranty or condition of the Agreement or any negligence, breach of statutory or other duty on our part or in any way out of or in connection with the performance or purported performance of or failure to perform the Agreement except for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence - as expressly stated in these conditions.
- Where we are liable in accordance with this condition in respect of only some or part of the equipment the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect in respect of the other or other parts of the equipment and no set off or other claim shall be made by you against us in respect of such other or other parts of the equipment.
- In no circumstances shall our liability to you under this condition exceed the invoiced value of the equipment.
- No person who is not a party to this contract shall have any right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of the terms of the Agreement.
- We shall not be liable for the acts or omission of any third parties to the Agreement.
- We are not liable for delaying, or not carrying out any of our duties if caused by circumstances beyond our control. Under these circumstances we can choose to cancel part or all of this agreement or delay carrying out any part of it.
- Where employees or contractors of PrintKit.co.uk or it's agent attend at the Location of the Customer, the customer shall ensure that it complies with the provisions of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 as amended and will provide a safe system of work and indemnify PrintKit.co.uk and it's agent in respect of any loss or injury to such employees or contractors or any goods belonging to them.
Data Protection PrintKit.co.uk guarantees that it's holding of data conforms to the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
Privacy Policy We never disclose any of your information to any third party. Cookies are used on PrintKit.co.uk and its associated sites to keep track of your information for your ease of use on returning to the site. These include the contents of your shopping cart, delivery addresses and details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option in the checkout.
Legal If a court of law decides that any term or condition of this agreement is illegal, or not binding and unenforceable it will not affect the other terms and conditions of this agreement which will remain valid and enforceable. This agreement shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales under English Law. The company and the customer hereby submit to the justification of the English Court.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice.
